One of my early memories from childhood is literally twirling down the sidewalk on the way home from school as I talked and sang with God (at least how I understood God at a young age).

As I bellowed my own whirly twirly song  at the top of my lungs, I remember feeling boundless joy and safety.  Whenever I talked with God, I was aware of an unconditional love and acceptance; an energy that I could feel and communicate with that helped me feel connected with something more magical than myself.

I continued to develop that precious relationship as I grew into the various versions of myself throughout life. My connection to this mystery has grown into a broad, intuitive, compassionate, and mystical experience.

Through this spiritual relationship, my intuition has deepened, and I’ve learned how to listen to an inner voice that is in touch with Spirit and energy in subtle and deliberate ways. The journey to understanding myself as an intuitive empath has been rewarding, but not without frustration. I have faced many obstacles in learning to trust my intuition and, throughout it all, that ever-faithful inner voice always whispers, “Keep going.”
